Hustlers Surprise was a successful show working hunter when we purchased her as a nine-yr-old. This is a beautiful, elegant mare with a very Thoroughbred look. She has great reach at the trot with a long, slow legged stride. Her canter has tremendous cadence and rhythm. She has produced 6 AQHA point earners in Hunter Under Saddle & Working Hunter, including a Congress Hunter U/S finalist and open & amateur ROM earners such as Beyondmywildestdream. Hustlers Surprise is by Queens Hustler and out of a daughter of Snow Hound.
Jaks 17.1 hand dark brown 1990 Thoroughbred
Superior Hunter Under Saddle & top-four at AQHA World producer Jaks, was imported to the United States from New Zealand as a show hunter. We purchased her when she was 9 years old and still showing. Jaks is a 17.1 + hand dark brown Thoroughbred with a long neck, short back, very correct conformation, great bone and solid well balanced hooves. She has that daisy cutter stride. At the trot, she has the float we all want and she has the nicest rocked back canter we have ever seen in a Thoroughbred. She was 100% sound, including clean x-rays, when we purchased her and she still is today. Captain Jason, the sire of Jaks, was a dark brown 17+ hand New Zealand Thoroughbred that sired successful hunters and distance runners.

This very sweepy, slow legged mover is by Skys Blue Boy and out of our TB mare, Hustlers Surprise. She has a naturally level top line and a nice flat tail set. Her oldest foal is a very tall, elegant 2008 black/gray gelding by Jaks Artifacts. She foaled a big black colt on May 10, 2011.
