The small breeding
program at Edwards Performance Horses has produced AQHA open
Superior Hunter Under Saddle, Amateur Superior Hunter Under
Saddle and Youth Superior Hunter Under Saddle horses, top 4 in
Junior Horse Hunter Under Saddle at the AQHA World Championship
Show, as well as
multiple Congress finalists.
Our breeding philosophy is to breed mares that are
outstanding show mares that have quiet, trainable dispositions
and are sound & correct in their conformation. Our aim is to
produce tall, elegant, quiet, exceptional movers for Hunter U/S
that are also very sound and sturdy. Most of the horses that we
have bred go on to earn points in working hunter and other
events.
Our breeding statistics* are some of the best in the
industry. From our breeding program, 90% of those 3-years of age
and older have been shown at AQHA shows. Of those shown, 88%
have earned AQHA pts, 25% are superior superior hunter
U/S, 25% are Congress three-year-old Hunter U/S futurity
finalists & money earners and 50% have earned Register of Merits
in Hunter U/S. Some of these horses include Jaks Artifacts,
Beyondmywildestdream, Surprising Detail and Noble Dynas Te.
The first foal, Noble Dynas Te, was born in 1992. He has
shown every year, beginning with his 3-yr-old year and
continuing today. He is a Superior Hunter U/S horse, ROM western
pleasure, has been shown successfully by 2 amateurs and 3
youths, and has points in five events.
